Basel, Switzerland - Part 3 - Boarding the Riverboat

We had our first real rainy day today. We hung out with Chris until he had to go to the airport. Then ran over to see the inside of the Elizabethan church we couldn’t get into yesterday. It wasn’t really worth going in. The outside was really beautiful.

We did see this crazy statue now on the side of a modern bank. Where is Rick Steves when you need him?

Then we headed to the boat - Our room is great!

With the rain and getting ready to “set sail” we just explored the very small boat (only 103 people on board) and hung out. Oh...

And we played cards.

We later listened to some music and some other passengers sang. It was a little like live karaoke.
